Reading assesment activity
Reading authors purpose
WALT:I can compare and contrast language ideas between text with similar authors purpose.
We had to do an activity where we read and wrote what type of text it was.We also had to write what language features were in the text.We had to read to text with the same authors purpose I chose persuasive because I just like that kind of writing , because I think it't fun to read. My next step maybe would be I can describe the authors purpose in relation to structure and language choices in the text and give relevant evidence.

flag blog
WALT:Write reasons why we should and shouldn't change the flag.
Today we did an activity and we had to write reason why we should change the flag and vice versa.
I said the we should change the flag one of the reasons why it should be changed was because it showed it was NZ.My next step would be just waiting for the flag results.

PE striking & fielding reflection
WALT: Apply Striking and Fielding activities in a range of sports and activities.
My Strengths
The striking strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were to stand side on and look at the ball.
The throwing and catching strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were rotating my shoulders and look at the ball.
My Next Steps
To improve my striking of a ball I need to put some power into the ball because I didn't hit the ball with all my strength.
To Improve my catching and fielding I need to get in a better position because the ball hardly came to me and I need to get involved.
The game that I enjoyed the most was the softball/baseball kind of game because everyone got to have a turn at everything and it was just a really fun game to play.

leadership reflection FF
WALT:Take the seeds from the plants
On Wednesday we took

the seeds from the plants so we could plant them next year.We were put in 8 group the first 4 groups did gardening and the other 4 went to different classes to help the juniors.
So the 4 groups that were gardening had been assigned to jobs so I was in group 4 and the job i I did was chop and drop.Chop and drop is when you cut a plant form the top to the bottom, but before we did that all four groups had to take the seeds from the plants.
We had a hard time trying to tell the juniors to put the seeds in the right envolope.I think the next step would be to plant the seeds.I think if I did that again I would put son pants not shorts on, because you start scratching yourself cause it gets itchy.
If I Could do something again, the thing I would do is taking the seeds from the red clovers. And the thing I enjoyed the least is getting really itchy. And one thing I wouldn't want to do is getting borage because kids kept on putting them in other envolopes.

Traits of a leader
Traits of a leader
WALT:Know the traits of a good leader.
For the last couple of weeks we have been learning about traits that a leader should have.
We have read books and identified what how the leaders showed the 6 traits.
The 6 traits are integrity, motivation, active thinking, goal focused, trustworthy, and resilient.
One of the leaders I read about was Ollie.
One of the traits he showed were resilience , he showed this by never giving up even though no one listened to him.
