Maths

For maths we're learning about degrees .I am learning about full turns quarter turns and what degrees they are.E.g you do 2 full turns with a pencil how much degrees is that,the answer is 270 degrees.My next step is to use scales on maps.

The treaty of waitangi.

For Wellington prep lesson I was put in a group that learnt about the treaty of waitangi. We were given laptops and books to answer the questions on the slides. The things i learnt were that there was nine copies of the treaty and that there was one maori and the rest was in engish.

Week 1 term 4 maths.

My goal for maths was rotational symmetry.We got a book in the morning with questions related to geometry, the first page was full of rotational symmetry ,the questions were like how much degrees do we have to rotate a shape to get it back to its original shape.I have no idea what my next goal is.

Koru Games Reflection

For koru games(intermidiate tournament) I got in for football B team.Unfortunately I was injured 1 day before the tournament so was unable to play.What I enjoyed was encouraging my team and watching the games. Overall it was fun and next year I am going to get into football again.

Reflection on term 3

It's been a incredibly fast term and it's been a fun term,so I think my 3 things I've done well are, finishing SDL(self directed learning) every week and being one of the fastest to complete SDL. Second I was one of the first to get mobile license this term unlike last time. Last of all I think I got involved a lot like the mural, koru games,scratch but didn't  get to go because I was sick.Now the 3 things I want to improve next term are not getting distracted as much, to finish the term without turning the learning hand break on,lastly to finish work to the highest standard.This is my reflection  the end!!!!!

Puberty

For puberty we have been learning about parts of boys and girls like penis. We have mainly been tested on what we know about and it has been enjoyable but some of the groups got silly.Also I have no idea what my next goal is.

Maths

Walt-how to work out exponents.For maths I have been working on exponents ,I am almost on my assessment task .Exponents are the same as powers ifsomeone says 2 to the ower of 4  it means 2×2×2×2.I think my next goal would be negetive numbers.

Discovery

For Discovery me and Jack R are trying to make a game.We have changed our subject and we know nothing about an app so this also a challenge for us.My next goal would be to find a way to make a way.

Te Reo

In room 26 we have been working on saying my head hurts and my favourite sport is in Te Reo maori. Eg:He hakinakina pai ki ahau he poikiri.this means my favourite sport is football. We have also been working on our mihis and we're trying to memories it.

WALT-write a persuasive speech.In room 26 we have been doing persuasive speechs, we have to finish on about friday so we can present our speechs.I am right now on publishing and my next goal would be to have some practice.

school related goal

One school related goal for me would be toget my silver award cause I would like to have a chance to be a leader. My next goal would be to get my gold.

reading, writing and maths goals

My writing goal vocab , because I need to use more technical language. My writing punctuation goal is to use commas and contractions 99 percent of the time. Reading goal is to language features which I think means toknow different ways to make the story interesting like metaphors. Maths powers(squared/cubed etc)this I know how to do but I got a square root question wrong and I know that if you're good at powers you'd be better at square roots.

Science

We got different ways of disolveing sugar in water and which way was quickest.There were ways like puting the sugar cube in cold water and hot water and we found that hot was by timing how long it took to disolve the sugar cube.We had to test if cushed sugar cube or just a sugar cube would disolve first our hypothisis was that the crushed would be faster and i was correct

Goal at school

I want to get my merit so I might get a leadership position.I want be a leader because you get to do a lot of different things and more work.

A goal I want to achieve at school

To get my merit badge. I think I might have been able to get my merit but I keep on forgeting to blog and do the challeges.

My writing, reading and maths goal

My reading goal is to identify and examine the effect of language features in the text.My writing goal is to start my draft for writing and my topic is the world is unfair.My math goal is to know standard form and vice versa because I know a lot about it, but the others are a bit more easy.

peer mediation

I have had finally had my two problems in one break it was easy problems but was hard people to deal with.

PALS

Today I had pals and had to make a game that the seniors would injoy so we decided to play bat down not much senior students came but it was alot of fun and I bet everyone that played probably thought that too.
